Hot off the back of the success of our Social Media Summer and Winter Camps, Perthshire Chamber of Commerce has combined forces with local award winning marketing agency Volpa, to bring you the Social Networking Spring Camp, a series of four powerful master classes on the three main social networks, approached from a marketing perspective, and designed to help you deliver strategic and consistent communications across all your marketing channels.

The Masterclass Leader
The masterclasses will be delivered by publicist Tricia Fox, a self confessed social network addict, who operates the facebook and twitter presence for multiple companies and has delivered a number of marketing campaigns for clients aimed at increasing followers and fans across all social media platforms. Tricia is one of the UK's leading experts on the subject of networking, having previously founded and grown the entrepreneurial business network Bacon Eggs & Entrepreneurs. Her marketing agency, Volpa, is a multi-award winning company and her passion for social networking is fierce. Put simply, Tricia believes that if your business has a telephone number, it should also have a facebook page.

Sabotaged cycling event gets positive spin
Etape 2009, the UK’s largest closed road cycling event, was a sell out with over 3700 cyclists registered. Following a smooth start to the event, cyclists hit problems on the route which resulted in closure of the roads for 1 ½ hours.
